About Dr. Tanzila Sharique

Dr. Tanzila Sharique is a consultant pediatric intensivist & general pediatrician at Ankura Hospital for Women and Children. She has done her MBBS followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. Recognizing her passion for pediatric critical care she then pursued her Fellowship in pediatric critical care from Bangalore, followed by yet another clinical fellowship in pediatric critical care from prestigious, The Hospital for Sick Kids, Toronto, Canada. She is highly skilled in performing all pediatric critical care procedures required in the pediatric intensive care unit and is an expert in dealing with pediatric emergencies. With the vast exposure that she has, she understands the needs of her patients in great detail. Some of her expertise includes PICC line placement, bone marrow aspiration, functional echocardiography, peritoneal dialysis, airway skills, etc.

Popular amongst her patients as a great communicator, she is known to establish a great connection with them and puts them at ease even in the most stressful times. Dr. Tanzila keeps herself up to date in her field by being an active participant in all pediatric academic forums, to deliver the best and latest care to her patients.
