About Dr. Srinivas Jakka

Dr. Srinivas Jakka is a highly experienced Consultant in Paediatrics, Paediatric Pulmonology, and Allergy at Ankura Hospitals for Women & Children, Hyderabad. With over a decade of clinical experience in the United Kingdom’s NHS and another decade of experience in India, he brings international expertise combined with a patient-centric approach.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Paediatrics from the University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, followed by specialist training (CCST) in Paediatrics in the UK. During his tenure in the NHS, he trained extensively in paediatric pulmonology and allergy at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool—one of the UK’s leading paediatric centres.

Dr. Jakka holds memberships and fellowships from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH, FRCPCH), and has further strengthened his expertise with diplomas in allergy, nutrition, and paediatric sleep medicine. After serving as a Consultant in the UK, he returned to India in 2012 and has since been actively involved in advanced pediatric care, teaching, and research.
