About Dr. Shilpa. P

Dr. Shilpa P is a senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with nearly two decades of clinical expertise in managing a wide spectrum of women’s health concerns, ranging from routine gynecological care to high-risk pregnancies and advanced minimally invasive surgeries.

After completing her MBBS and postgraduate training (DGO) from Mysore Medical College, she pursued her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad. She further enhanced her surgical skills with a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurugram.

Dr. Shilpa has extensive experience in handling high-risk obstetric cases and has been actively involved in managing labor wards, obstetric ICUs, and emergency situations such as postpartum hemorrhage and eclampsia. She is skilled in performing both normal and instrumental deliveries, as well as cesarean sections.

Her expertise also includes minimally invasive gynecological procedures such as total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH), ovarian cystectomy, and salpingectomy. She is proficient in evaluating and managing infertility, PCOS, and menstrual irregularities, and has experience with basic assisted reproductive techniques.

Dr Shilpa is an active academician and over the years she has participated in several national and international conferences, and has presented clinical research on rare and complex gynecological cases. She is an active member of professional bodies such as FOGSI, OGSH, and the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
