About Dr. Pragya Dubey Tiwari is a Neonatologist with more than 9 years of experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology. She is proficient in delivering advanced and evidence-based care to newborns, particularly preterm and critical neonates with special emphasis on improving neonatal outcomes and long-term developmental health.

Dr Pragya has done MBBS and MD in Pediatrics and then did her DM in Neonatology from the prestigious St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru. She is a Certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Trainer and actively involved in neonatal education and resuscitation training.

Her clinical interests include neonatal intensive care, neonatal resuscitation, preterm nutrition, neurodevelopmental follow-up, and the implementation of evidence-based strategies to improve intact survival of newborns. Dr Pragya is passionate about academic excellence and is involved in developing neonatal education, simulation training, research and quality improvement initiatives to improve neonatal care.

She is interested in holistic care of the newborn and supporting parents through their baby’s journey in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with a compassionate, family-centred approach.

Research on the Benefits of Kangaroo Mother Care for Larger Low Birth Weight Infants (>2000 g) was performed to highlight the clinical benefits of Kangaroo Mother Care.
