Dr. Kavya Chikkam is a highly skilled Pediatric Pulmonologist, Allergy and Sleep Specialist with an MD in Pediatrics and advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine from the prestigious Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK. With over 15 years in medicine and more than 5 years of post-MD clinical experience, she has developed extensive expertise in managing both acute and chronic respiratory disorders in children. She is a Diplomate in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine from the European Respiratory Society and holds a Diploma in Pediatric Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Kavya is proficient in managing a wide range of complex pediatric respiratory conditions including asthma, allergies, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, sleep-related breathing disorders, and children requiring long-term ventilation or tracheostomy care. Worked in tertiary care centers in India and later with the NHS in the UK. She is experienced in multidisciplinary management of complex airway and genetic respiratory disorders. She is also skilled in flexible bronchoscopy, PICU and NICU procedures, PALS, and NRP.

Actively involved in academic and clinical research, Dr. Kavya has contributed to publications, including a chapter on ARDS in Pediatrics and research in neonatal and pediatric outcomes. She has presented at state and national conferences and has served as a panelist at programs organized by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
