About Dr. K. Chandrika
Dr. Chandrika Kanne is a seasoned Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, a Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgeon, and has been dedicated to women's health for more than 23 years. Her experience as a Major in the Army Medical Corps informs her every action, a legacy of her time as an Army Medical Officer. Her background cultivates a strong sense of discipline, a sharp eye for detail, and a sincere commitment to her patients.
She began her medical education at Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, where she earned her MBBS. She subsequently focused on Obstetrics & Gynaecology, earning her MS at the Indian Naval Hospital Ship Asvini in Mumbai. Her expertise has been sharpened by specialized training in laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.

Her accomplishments include - She served in the Indian Army as a Short Service Commissioned Officer and worked in Military Hospital Sagar and Military Hospital Jamnagar. During Operation Parakram was deputed to forward area to the LOC in Rajasthan and performed the duties of Officer in charge of Ambulance Train with 600 beds to provide medical care both at the location and during transportation to the tertiary care centres.
Served as a member of Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation provided compassionate care to victims and affected people during the Dec 2004 tsunami in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Awarded the prestigious Commendation by the Commander-in-Chief Andaman Nicobar Command for setting up a new MI Room at Port Blair as Regimental Medical Officer, 18 Maratha LI on 27 Feb 2006.
Awarded as thrice as Best Teacher during tenures of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at GSL Medical College & General Hospital, Rajahmundry.
