About Dr. Jahnavi Anne

Dr. Jahnavi Anne is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, specializing in comprehensive obstetric care, high-risk pregnancy management, Gynecology, infertility evaluation and minimally invasive surgical procedures. She completed her MBBS from NRI Medical College, Mangalagiri, under Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, under Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana.

An accomplished academician, Dr. Jahnavi was a University Gold Medalist in MS Obstetrics and Gynecology and received distinction along with a gold medal during her postgraduate training. She has also won Gold medals in Otorhinolaryngology and General Surgery in her MBBS and has secured distinctions in her entire undergraduate medical education.

Dr Jahnavi has wide hands-on experience in obstetric care and has independently managed a wide range of routine, emergency and high-risk obstetric cases. Her clinical experience includes over 800 vaginal deliveries, over 200 instrumental deliveries and over 600 cesarean sections, including complex and high-risk pregnancies. She is also trained in the management of Medical Termination of Pregnancy procedures, Suction evacuations, Dilatation and Curettage procedures and Endometrial Biopsies.

Her expertise extends to adolescent gynaecology, menstrual health, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility evaluation and first-line infertility management. She has received specialized training in ovulation induction and IUI protocols and is experienced in providing evidence-based care for women with reproductive and fertility concerns.

To enhance her surgical skills she has also done Fellowships in Clinical Laparoscopic Surgery and Minimal Access Surgery. She has performed many gynecological surgeries independently, has been trained for laparoscopic procedures and has had exposure to robotic surgery through an observership in Gynecological Oncology and Robotic Surgery.

She has also completed specialized training in cosmetic gynecology and has expertise in aesthetic and functional gynecological procedures. Her interest in preventive women's healthcare includes gynecological cancer screening and promoting early detection and timely management of gynaecological conditions.

Dr Jahnavi has passed MRCOG part 1 and part 2 with good marks and is preparing for MRCOG part 3. She has been actively involved in academic and research activities, including presentations in national and international conferences and publications in the area of abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dr. Jahnavi Anne has been actively involved in academic and research activities in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology. She authored “Clinicopathological Study of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding in Perimenopausal Women” in the International Journal of Medicine and Public Health, Volume 15, Issue 2.

She has also presented her work at prominent professional conferences. Her presentations include a poster titled “Multidisciplinary Approach for a Successful Pregnancy Outcome in Eisenmenger’s Disease – A Case Report” at the FOGSI-FIGO International Conference on Women's Health.

She also received a special prize for her paper presentation, “A Prospective Study of Jaundice Complicating Pregnancy,” at ISOPARB Maatrika.
