Dr. Deepali Nirawane has been actively involved in clinical practice, academic teaching and research activities in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology with special interest in high-risk obstetrics, gynecological endoscopy and women’s reproductive health.
She has gained ample experience through postgraduate training at Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai and through her clinical and academic roles at various reputed institutions. As an Assistant Professor at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai, she was actively involved in postgraduate teaching programs, CMEs, workshops, academic discussions and multidisciplinary patient care.
Her research experience includes a postgraduate dissertation titled “Fetomaternal Outcome in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus” conducted at K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai, which focused on the diagnosis, evaluation, management, and maternal-fetal outcomes of gestational diabetes. She also served as a co-investigator in a research study at Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai, titled “To Evaluate Factors Affecting Innate Immunity in Women Undergoing Preeclampsia,” under the guidance of the department's senior faculty.
Dr. Deepali has been actively participating in various national and regional conferences, workshops and scientific meetings like AICOG, FIGO-FOGSI Conferences, POGS, MOGS, AMOGS, IDCON, Gynec Oncology Conferences, Infertility CMEs, and Obstetric Hemorrhage Workshops. She has contributed as a faculty in Breastfeeding Workshops and has been involved in organizing various academic programs and CMEs at institutional, regional and state levels.
Her continued involvement in academic and research activities shows her commitment to life-long learning, evidence-based medicine and delivery of quality, patient-centered women’s health care.
