Dr. C. Sita Lata is a highly experienced Consultant Pathologist currently associated with Ankura Hospitals, Vijayawada, with over 21 years of experience in the field of pathology. She completed her MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, and went on to earn her MD in Pathology from the same institution. She has been instrumental in implementing and maintaining high-quality standards in diagnostic laboratories, including NABL accreditation and ISO certification, and has successfully completed specialized training in internal auditing for lab quality management systems as per NABL-ISO 2012 guidelines. She also holds an MBA in Hospital Administration, further strengthening her expertise in healthcare management.
Throughout her career, Dr. Sita Lata has made significant contributions in both diagnostic and research domains, with expertise in cytology, surgical oncology, hemato-oncology, bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, and blood banking procedures, including stem cell retrieval. She has presented award-winning research papers at state-level conferences and published studies in modern medicine, particularly in FNAC of liver lesions and clinicopathologic correlations.
