Dr. Asish Ranjan Mohakud is a skilled Pediatric Cardiologist with specialized expertise in interventional pediatric and fetal cardiology. He completed his DrNB in Pediatric Cardiology from Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai, and holds an MD in Pediatrics from S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack. He also received specialized training in fetal echocardiography at Mediscan Systems, a leading fetal medicine center in India.
With over five years of focused experience in pediatric cardiac care, Dr. Mohakud has independently performed numerous complex transcatheter interventions and manages critically ill neonates and children with congenital heart diseases. His areas of interest include device closures, management of cyanotic heart diseases, and fetal cardiac imaging.
Dr. Mohakud currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Cardiology at KIMS, Bhubaneswar, and has previously held senior residency positions at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Hi-Tech Medical College. He has contributed eight publications in national and international journals and presented at multiple international cardiology conferences, including CSI Frankfurt, Vietnam, and California.
He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (PALS/NALS), and pediatric intensive care.
