An MBBS graduate from MUHS Nashik, she went on to specialise as a paediatrician and did her MD in paediatrics from KEM Mumbai. Following her specialization as a paediatrician, she obtained FNB and ISPN fellowship in Paediatric Nephrology.

With a vast working experience in her field, she has a detailed understanding of treatment needs in children. She is an expert in diagnosing, interpreting, and treating all renal problems in children and holds a special interest in Glomerulonephritis, Acute kidney injury, Tubular disorders, and Nephrotic syndrome. She is highly skilled in performing specific procedures such as Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and Plasmapheresis.
