After obtaining her post-graduate degree with a Gold Medal, she worked as a Senior Resident in the Pediatric Gastroenterology Division of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi for 3 years and developed a deep passion for treating children with gastrointestinal, liver or pancreatic related problems. After completing senior residency, to gain a wider experience, she went on to pursue 3-year advanced training (DM) in Pediatric Hepatology and Liver Transplant (2019-2022) from the only dedicated center for pediatric liver diseases in India –  the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. (Only 3seats per year through national level competitive examination).During her tenure at ILBS, she was extensively involved in the treatment of all kinds of complicated and rare liver and gastrointestinal problems in children. She has also been trained in the pre-, perioperative and post-liver transplant care of children undergoing liver transplants at ILBS. She performed all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy, liver biopsies, and was also highly active in academic activities. After completion of her training, she came back to serve her native people in Odisha and has been providing the highest quality care to children with all sorts of gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic problems for the past 2 years.

She holds a keen research interest and has conducted various studies related to her specialty. She has been awarded with prestigious “Young Investigator Award 2022’ by European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) for her research activities.
