Best Gynecologist in Vijayawada – Dr. Hema Prasanna Prasanna practices as a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist at the Vijayawada center of  Ankura hospital. She did her MBBS from Katuri medical college followed by MS in Obstetrics and gynecology from Kasturba medical college, Manipal University. 

She received Dr. P. AMINI MEMORIAL AWARD for best outgoing student and DR. A. PADMA RAO MEMORIAL BEST RESIDENT AWARD in her post-graduation from Manipal University.

With adequate exposure in various aspects of healthcare in women, she worked in Government and private institutes to gain vast experience in dealing with  Basic to High-risk  pregnancy.

With her special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques, she pursued a fellowship in minimal access surgery from AMASI. She also got trained from CEMAST / IMMAST at Mumbai in both advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries. She is highly skilled in performing laparoscopic and conventional surgeries and an expert in dealing with gynecology needs including infertility concerns in women.
