Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician -Dr. Anusha Rao

Dr. Anusha is a dynamic Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatricianpracticing at 9M Ankura hospital. An MBBS graduate from B.J. Medical College, Pune, she went on to pursue her MD in Pediatrics from K.E.M. Hospital and Seth G.S. Government Medical College, Mumbai. Following this, she additionally attained a DNB in Pediatrics. With her specific interest in the diseases of the new-born, Dr. Anusha pursued her DrNB in Neonatology from K.E.M. Hospital,Pune to super-specialise as a Neonatologistfrom the NBEMS with Gold Medal as All India Topper.

She is highly skilled in performing all procedures for new-borns and is an expert in handling the simple and complex conditions related to them.She is experienced in resuscitation and care of babies as small as 400grams and 24 weeks gestational age. She performs the most specific and complex neonatal procedures with ease and her skills extend from advanced neonatal invasive and non-invasive ventilation to bedside ECHO, ultrasound, and central line insertion.She is adept at diagnosing and treating all neonatal diseases and conditions and dedicates herself to establishing the overall health of her patients.

Besides herwork as a clinician, Dr Anusha is also an active academician and has many of her scientific papers published in reputed national and international pediatric and neonatology journals. Apart from this, she has also contributed some chapters in various neonatology textbooks. She makes sure to be actively involved in the various CME programs and conferences of Neonatology to keep herself updated with all the latest trends and advancements.
