Dr. AbhimanyuSengupta, Senior Consultant in Pediatrics at Ankura Hospital has been in clinical practice since 1991 and brings with him a wealth of experience in the field spanning over 3 decades.

An alumnus of ByramjeeJeejeebhoy Medical College, Pune (MBBS -1986, MD Pediatrics – 1990), he harbours special interest in immunization, infectious diseases, growth and development, nutrition and lifestyle related illnesses in children.

Dr.Sengupta carries to his work a deep sense of commitment, enthusiasm, humour and connectedness to his little patients, many of whom visit him as parents now.

Over this period, he has been associated in the capacity of consultant with Surya Mother and Child Hospital, Aditya Birla Memorial Clinic, Vitalife Clinics and Kotbagi Hospital.

Alongside his work, he keeps himself abreast of recent developments through his wholehearted participation in academic activities in the form of Continuing Medical Education programs, conferences, seminars and updates.

He has made valuable contributions in the area of adoption related health and social issues and is a vocal champion of adoption rights.

Outside of his professional life, he is an avid theatre person, musician, fitness enthusiast, painter, writer and a much loved teacher and mentor to his senior school students.
