Dr. Mounnish Balaji is a dedicated Pediatric Pulmonologist with specialized training and extensive experience in managing a wide range of childhood respiratory disorders. He completed his MBBS and postgraduate training in Pediatrics from reputed institutions in Chennai and Coimbatore, respectively. He then pursued a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the prestigious Wadia Children’s Hospital, Mumbai—one of India’s leading centers for pediatric care.

Driven by a keen interest in allergy and sleep disorders in children, Dr. Mounnish further completed a specialization in Pediatric Allergy at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and acquired a certification in Pediatric Sleep Medicine from Shishuka Children’s Hospital, Bengaluru.

His areas of expertise include the comprehensive management of childhood wheezing, recurrent cough and cold, allergies, asthma, pneumonia, pleural effusion, cystic fibrosis, aspiration pneumonia, pediatric interstitial lung diseases (ILD), primary ciliary dyskinesia, and other chronic respiratory conditions. He also has a growing focus on pediatric sleep disorders.
