Dr.Mounika B practices as the consultant neonatologist at the Ankura Hospital for Women and Children.  After obtaining her MBBS degree, she pursued her DNB in Pediatrics from Hyderabad, following which she went on to pursue DM in Neonatology from the Madras Medical College, Chennai. With a vast experience in her field, she is an expert diagnosing and managing the conditions of the newborns. A Dedicated Neonatologist & Pediatrician she has a background of delivering high quality neonatal care right from antenatal counseling, advanced neonatal resuscitation to discharge & follow-up of the high risk infants. She is also well versed in providing general paediatric and vaccination services. She is highly skilled in performing all kinds of neonatal procedures and is a master in handling neonatal emergencies. Her special interest lies in extreme preterm care & Neonatal Ventilation Neonatal research and Developmentally Supportive Care.

Besides her clinical interests, she is also active academically and keeps herself updated in her subject through various academic forums of pediatric neonatology. She has attended various workshops to enhance her skills; some of them include workshops on, basic pediatric Intensive Care, pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.  Above all, she establishes a great connection with her little patients and their caretakers.
