| JOB OVERVIEW |
| Responsible for medical management and patient care. |
| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
| Daily Clinical rounds along with senior consultants of the patients admitted in obstetrics & gynaecology Department. |
| Patients health status counselling to relatives. |
| Verify the treatment plans of all patients and advice evidence based correction, as and when required post discussion with admitting physician consultant. |
| Perform and document history & physical examination |
| Develop and documents initial plan of care |
| Document daily progress notes |
| Obtain and document informed consent |
| Order appropriate investigations and interpret results |
| Order and administer appropriate medication and other investigations as required |
| Audit and approve discharge summary given by DMO and get approval of consultant in the prescribed timeline to avoid delay in discharge delay. |
| Update consultant (in house/VC) on call every morning on status of patient before shift change. |
| Actively participate in training of nursing staff in the department |
| Immediate response to code (e.g.: Code blue) announcements in the hospital |
| Qualifications |
| Qualification : MBBS + MS/DNB |
| Experience : 0 to 3 years experience |
