Dr. Srikanth Marda practices as a specialist Pediatric Haematologist and Oncologist, at Ankura Hospital for Women and Children. After obtaining his MBBS degree, he pursued MD in Pediatrics from JSS Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru to specialise as a pediatrician. He then went on to do a PG Certificate course in Pediatric Nutrition (CCPN) from Boston University School of Medicine, to understand more aspects of health needs in his little patients, and deliver the best care to them. With his zeal and passion lying in haematological and oncological conditions in children he then pursued a FNB (Fellowship of National Board) in Pediatric Haematology and Oncology. He is active academician and regularly updates himself by participating in conferences and workshops to deliver the best possible care to his patients. Of the many training programs, some that he has attended include, Neonatal Developmental Workshop, and recently a Fellowship in Oncology Palliative Care, SMART PAIN. He has also presented scientific papers and posters in many conferences of his speciality.

Dr Srikanth, is an expert in diagnosing, and treating various haematological and oncological diseases in children. Some conditions managed by him include, blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma, etc, solid tumours, anaemia in children including thalassemia and sickle cell anaemia, platelet and bleeding disorders. By his in depth understanding of children and their psychology, he establishes a great connect with them.
